The Master Esthetics Combined Program curriculum at Aesthetics Northwest Institute includes classroom instruction in theory and in-spa practical application to prepare our students for all areas of Esthetics. In this program you complete both your esthetics and master esthetics program in one!

Esthetics Classroom Theory Includes:

  • Purpose and effect derived from a facial treatment

  • In-depth analyzation of all skin types and ethnic groups

  • Recognition of skin diseases and disorders

  • Product knowledge and ingredient evaluation

  • Theory of massage, types and purpose, benefits of manipulations

  • Safety, sanitation/disinfection, bacteriology

  • Anatomy

  • Histology

  • Physiology

  • Nutrition pertaining to health and function of skin

  • Oxygen therapies

  • Vitamin C therapies

  • Glycolics

  • AHA'S

  • European methods, etc.

  • Extractions, safety, sanitation/disinfection protocol.

  • Electricity and Light Therapy

  • Electrical currents and their application

  • Correct procedure for application of Tesla and Galvanic Currents

  • Usage of various machines and equipment

  • Pre and Post-Operative protocol for Laser and Cosmetic Surgery.

Day Class Hours Full Time:

Tuesday through Friday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Saturday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Approximately 8 months

 

Evening Hours Part Time:

Tuesday through Friday 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM 

Saturday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Approximately 18 months
